Action through Churches Together is an ecumenical coalition of churches and individuals working together to promote social and economic justice. ACT brings together churches, community organizations and individuals to address social and economic injustices at local, regional and state levels. Local events are designed to meet not only the immediate needs of the community but to also educate the community as to the root causes of social and economic injustice. With this heightened level of awareness ACT encourages and supports congregations and individuals to become engaged in advocacy designed to address social and economic injustices at the root level.
